The Hindu Bride
Lehengas, anarkalis, sarees — burgundy, kumkum, ivory, emerald. Paired with kundan or polki.
A couture atelier in Kozhikode for rented bridal wardrobes — Hindu lehengas, Christian gowns, Muslim wedding attire, grooms' sherwanis, and heirloom jewellery. Fitted by hand. Photographed by you. Returned to the rack, for someone else's morning.
For the bride who chooses well.
Ch. 01 — The Atelier
Every Allura piece begins life on the body of a real Kerala bride. We design, source, and finish couture in-house — and then we steward each gown through dozens of wedding mornings. We re-fit it. We re-press it. We treat each fitting as if it were the first.
You arrive with a vision. You leave with the gown, the dupatta, the jewellery set, the groom's sherwani — fitted, photographed, and ready. The only thing you keep is the photograph. The dress walks back into the rack, for someone else's morning.
Ch. 02 — The Wardrobes
From the Hindu mandapam to the Christian chapel, the nikah to the family reception — every silhouette has been built, fitted, and re-fitted on real Kerala brides. Browse the six wardrobes that hold them.
Lehengas, anarkalis, sarees — burgundy, kumkum, ivory, emerald. Paired with kundan or polki.
Lace gowns, cathedral veils, fitted bodices, mermaid silhouettes.
Anarkali sets, embroidered shararas, designer abayas, full-cover wedding gowns.
Sherwanis, jodhpuris, indo-westerns — cut for the Indian frame.
Temple, kundan, polki, contemporary. Curated for each silhouette.
Coordinated wardrobes for mothers, sisters, brothers.

Reception · Calicut
This is the quiet generosity of a borrowed gown: the same dress that turned a Calicut church into a moving photograph on the 15th of March is being re-fitted today, for a wedding next Sunday.
Diya wore the Burgundy Lehenga with hand-zardozi gold. Muhsin wore the Onyx Sherwani with silver bidri-work. The jewellery — a kundan-and-pearl Lakshmi set — has dressed seven brides before her, and will dress many more.

⟶ 48-hour return · Dry-cleaning includedCh. 04 — Why Allura
We are not the cheapest rental in Calicut. We are the one your aunt remembers from the wedding photograph — the one she traveled forty minutes to fit, two years before yours.
Every gown is re-tailored to your frame — not pinned, not approximated. Free of charge, included.
Zardozi, dabka, kundan — sourced from Lucknow and Surat workshops, finished in our Kozhikode atelier.
Every outfit is styled with a jewellery set chosen for that exact silhouette. No extra fees.
Hindu mandapam, Christian aisle, Muslim nikah, reception — we've dressed all four, for seven years.
Ch. 05 — From the brides
They re-stitched the lehenga three times until it sat perfectly. The jewellery they paired turned my reception photographs into something I'll show my grandchildren.
My gown was the one thing I didn't worry about on my wedding morning. Allura had it pressed, fitted, and ready — jewellery laid out beside it. Calm, like an atelier should be.
Wardrobes for four family members. Coordinated, fitted, photographed beautifully. The cost of one ready-made bridal lehenga — for the entire wedding party.
Inside the Atelier
Our flagship Calicut showroom sits on Mavoor Road, opposite Kalyan Jewellers — a 1,800 sq ft atelier with a fitting studio, a tailoring floor, and a curated jewellery vault.
Ch. 06 — What it costs
Couture you could never justify buying — for a fraction of the price, worn once, returned the next day. Final pricing depends on the piece and the season; here is how it works.
A complete bridal look — gown, dupatta, and a matched jewellery set — fitted twice to your frame.
The bride's wardrobe and the groom's sherwani, styled as one photograph. The most-booked package.
Coordinated wardrobes for the whole wedding party — mothers, sisters, brothers, cousins.
Before you visit
For peak wedding season (December–May) we recommend visiting two to three months before the wedding, so we have time for two unhurried fittings. Off-season, three to four weeks is comfortable. For last-minute weddings, walk in — we have dressed brides with a week's notice.
Yes. Every bridal wardrobe is styled with a complete jewellery set — necklace, jhumkas, maathapatti, and whatever the look needs — chosen by our stylist for that exact silhouette. There is no separate jewellery fee and no "premium" tier. It comes with the gown.
It will. Every gown is re-tailored to your frame in our own atelier — bust, waist, hem, sleeves — across two included fittings. We stitch, never pin. If something still isn't right at the second fitting, we keep adjusting until it is.
Yes — Hindu, Christian, and Muslim weddings, plus engagements, receptions, and family functions. We have a hijab-stylist for nikah veiling and work with church photographers on Christian aisle silhouettes. Seven years, all four traditions.
You return the wardrobe within 48 hours — that's it. You don't clean it, press it, or repair it. We handle all of that in-house, so the next bride receives it as if it were the first time it had ever been worn.
